St Johns County Clerk Of Court

The current st johns county clerk of court is Cheryl Strickland. The duties of the Clerk of Courts includes recording and handling all minutes pertaining to misdemeanors, small claims, felonies, and traffic cases for the County. The Clerk of Courts is also the Clerk for the County Commissioners and is in charge of recording, auditing, and is the custodian for the County funds. The Office of the Clerk is also responsible for financial and information management and record keeping for the County’s judicial system.

The Clerk of Courts is a government office and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm except for holidays. The office is located within the County building and due to budget cuts the offices that were located in Julington Creek, Ponte Vedre, and the Southeast office have been closed.
